Founded in Paris, 2016.

Soumkine started as handmade notebooks in a small Paris atelier. For years, I dreamed of painting full-time, like my mother and my grandfather before me.

When health issues forced me to pause, I built a different way forward.

I taught myself to code, robotics, and electronics. I built my own painting machine and wrote the software that drives it. I choose every color, I lay the paint by hand, I direct every pass. The machine holds the brush.

It gave me my hand back.

In October 2026, Soumkine is back. Original paintings on canvas. Each one, one of a kind.
